Voting

When you vote on a story, we store your choice along with a one-way hashed fingerprint (derived from your IP address and browser) purely to stop double-voting. We can't reverse it to identify you, and we don't use it for anything else.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we store your email address and chosen timezone so we can send the daily brief at the right time. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any moment.

Advertising

We show ads through Google AdSense, which may use cookies to personalise ads and measure performance. You can manage ad personalisation in your Google account settings.
